The City of Eau Claire sits at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa rivers. Named by early French Voyageurs, these clear waters add beauty and recreation to every season.
The area’s history is woven into the fabric of the city. Visit the Chippewa Valley Museum and Paul Bunyan Logging Camp for a glimpse of life long ago. Stroll through the historic Water Street or Downtown districts for eclectic shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Just 15 miles north is beautiful Lake Wissota, a 6300 acre, 72 foot deep manmade lake that has been home to a number of regional and national fishing tournaments.
